Elisa Suppa
Senior Advisor, Corporate Projects and Research
Telefilm Canada
Elisa Suppa is senior advisor for strategy and research with Telefilm Canada, where she focuses on strategic content creation, research, business development, policy and stakeholder partnerships. Her work in media and brand development began as executive producer with Spafax, an international media company, curating screen content and media product for airline clients. Elisa has worked in film with award-winning documentarians, both as distribution manager for Allan King and in production with Beverly Shaffer. She has also worked in PR and marketing with Carnegie Hall and the Manhattan Theater Club in New York City, and holds a master’s degree in arts administration from New York University. Elisa has volunteered with several organizations including: The National Ballet of Canada, CNIB (board member), and Big Sisters. In 2012, Elisa joined Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights (CLAIHR) as a volunteer board member.
